This requires you to only use the 
button to attack. Nothing else. The level boss may prove difficult in this instance, but I'd recommend finding as many keys as you an then freeing all the NPC's possible in the level and let them do as much damage as you can them spam attack at the remaining health the boss has left if any.
I did this on the second level which randomly spawned 2 bosses. Very tricky to pull off but the first boss on level one is your best bet.

Thanks. I just avoided using any special powers or skills and just hightailed it to the end of the level. I guess your idea would need testing to prove it.
