How to unlock the Serious Vran achievement in Victor Vran - Definitive Guide
So i will preface this by saying my build was the only one I tried, you can probably do a 1000 different combinations, but for me this worked well, took about 2-3 hours of playing. Also, I already had just over 2500 when I started this method, so may take a tad longer if you haven't gotten any hex kills.
Location: Den of the BroodMother (there may be other spots that are Ok, but this one has to be the best location, and it is the only one I tried)
Level: I was 51 when I started, probably doesn't matter other than character strength
Build: I used legendary scythes, one gave me overdrive orbs (Dark Pact), the other was the Dervish. Depending on how you want to play, you could probably use whatever you like, but the scythes worked well because of their weapon skills, I would daze then whirlwind, quick and easy kills. Downside is the cooldowns affect both weapons, for instance, if i used the whirlwind on the Dervish, it also reset it on the Dark Pact. So a different weapon you could switch back and forth and use the skills for that weapon, but the overdrive orbs were nice.
I had potions and fire bombs as my two potion spots, the firebombs are nice as they can pretty much clear out a bunch of the eggs and spiders at the same time.
Destiny cards: Again, there are so many combinations depending on your play style, but I used the following: (note I had adventurer's outfit, armor of 63 but gives an additional destiny card slot)
-The alchemist (sped up time between being able to use consumables) I had a 5, 40% reduction in time.
- The wicked knight (additional armor) it was a 3, +60 in armor
-The rogue (150% critical damage) it was a 7
-The divine harvest ( helps with the scythe attacks) it was a 2
-The seer (gives me an additional 4 destiny points)
-Wildcard (+6% damage and +8% critical damage for each card in use) it was an 8
Demon powers: any AOE would probably be fine, but I had a legendary Shockwave and a legendary Meteor, I almost exclusively used the Shockwave.
Activate all 5 hexes
Start the dungeon, you can fight through it, or just run to the end where you have to jump off into the final battle, giving you the cutscene. Directly after the cutscene, you are near a checkpoint, make sure you run over this, activating it.
I basically ran around, building overdrive, using my daze and whirlwind on grouped up spiders, didn't focus on the broodmother that much, but I would try to deal with the champion spiders that would spawn due to the hex as they can be a deterrent. When your fire bomb is active, get a large group and go boom! As I ran around I would use shockwave to destroy eggs in front and around me, occasionally the gang of spiders and mites that would be chasing me. Just keep moving and watch out for the larger spiders that will spawn when you get the brood mother weakened, one wants to pull you in and I died several times due to this.
The best part about this is, if you die, and you probably will and should before you kill the brood mother, when you respawn, you start at the checkpoint, and everything is reset, including the same amount of potions and fire bombs you originally started with, so as long as you don't kill the brood mother, in essence you won't ever "use" any. It does count the kills though and you can check these as you progress by looking at the active hexes. I can't tell you how many kills per clearing you get, but it is somewhere between 700-1000, but that is an estimate. All I know is, I don't think I get this achievement without doing this. You can just rinse and repeat once you die, until you get your 15000.
If you kill the broodmother, (which I recommend you do at least once for the loot drop, as there is an elite challenge for doing so with all 5 hexes activated, this requires you have beaten the game once to unlock elite challenges though) just restart the area and run back to the point where you jump off the ledge, starting the cutscene.
Again, there are so many different ways to build your character, but this location has to be the best because of numbers of enemies, and your ability to respawn and reset the progress with no problem.
Also, I did this solo. I have played a great deal of co-op with my brother, and from what we can tell, a kill counts if you gave the killing blow, not necessarily from the tally on each hex as you play. For example, the achievement for 2500 kills with 5 hexes, each one of my hexes had over 6000 kills before the achievement popped, meaning, my brother got more kills than I did and it added them both to the total. So if you do this co-op, keep that in mind, it isn't 15000 total between players, but 15000 individual kills.

If you deactivate the 5 hexes the count starts over again or this achievement is accumulated 15000 kills with 5 hexes?

It's cumulative, turning them off doesn't reset it.

The other guide is spot on, so give them your thumbs, this is just to cover a few extra points:
- If you have the DLC and plan on getting all achievements, you'll get this achievement naturally as you work your way through 50 Tiers of Fracture. I had 15,000 kills before I reached Tier 25 (after going through the main game first).
- You must get all 15,000 kills on a single save slot. Kills are not accumulative.
- You can see how many kills you have on the hexes. On Hardcore/Hard, all 5 hexes will have the same number of kills.

Hexes give you a penalty and a bonus and can be only used in Normal or Hard Mode. For this achievement, you will need to have all 5 activated and kill 15.000 monsters. On Hard, all hexes will always be on, so your Hard playthrough will help you a lot for this.
