The Onion Quarter has a lot of pumpkins scattered around, and there's also a ton in the northwest part of the map, where the Pumpkin King (That Explodes) is. One or two runs through that area is probably all you'll need for this achievement.

There are an ample amount of pumpkins to smash throughout the game, but if you need to farm them, there are dozens in The Onion Quarter.
If, when completing The Onion Quarter, you're still missing this achievements, simply reload the area and start smashing again.
