How to unlock the Ariadne achievement in Virginia - Definitive Guide

I started watching the credits and while doing so, I wanted to check out my achievements. I pressed the cn_guide button to bring up the guide and when it did, the achievement popped. Might speed things up for the impatient like me.

Update: According to the comments, this solution is still working as of November 2022.

5 seconds into the credits I tapped the Xbox button, it worked. Apollo must have bad luck. Still works great, thanks! I did this playthrough in 3 sessions.

6/12/20 single cn_guide to D pad over to achievements then cn_guide back to the game and it popped.

FULL TA GAME WALKTHROUGH F/ 1000G NOW LIVE. Thanks toast

For this achievement, you must watch the credits after a full play through.

Since for the full 1000G you will be playing the game from the start to the end credits twice, this should come naturally at the end of your first play through.

Simple achievement, but due to the cryptic nature of this game (achievements and, well, everything else) no achievement is "self explanatory" as such.

EDIT: SanJol in the comments has also kindly pointed out that any use of chapter select will void the achievement. Best to just stick to doing it all in one playthrough, guys.

Be careful: do NOT use the chapter select during the game at any time. I did use it once, during my first playthrough to go back to the beginning of a chapter and didn't unlock this achievement. On my second playthrough, from start to finish, without using chapter select, it unlocked. I had to play a third time, to unlock the achievement, which didn't unlock the second playthrough, maybe because of the samen thing.

I’ve finished both playtrus and still nothing for either completion my achievements have had major delays in popping.

Did you watch the credits and not skip? You must watch the credits after your playthrough for this to unlock.

Skipping chapters might also ruin this; do a playthrough, start to finish, in one sitting.

Missable

Awarded when you have finished your first playthrough, after the credits. You should not use Chapter Select to skip ahead. If you have done this, it can only be gotten by starting an entire new playthrough. This might not unlock if you skip the credits or exit the game before they have ended.

*MISSABLE*

This achievement is unlocked only by completing a playthrough and watching the credits in full. The credits are approximately 7 minutes long. If you skip or end the credits early, this achievement will not unlock and you will have to play the entire game again.

This can be unlocked along with “Red Night” (which is unlocked just by watching the credits in full).

The trophy is easy to miss!

Just complete the game without using chapter select , and do not skip the credits or exit the game before they end.
The trophy will appear after the credits.
