i thought Ariadne was for watching the credits and this was for playing the entire game in one sitting...?

I just got this by sitting all the way through the credits at the end of the game. I did not play the game in one sitting but over two sessions.

I got Ariadne by following the solution that said to hit the cn_guide button twice during the credits.

I just watched the credits straight from the off via chapter select ... And this achievement popped !

Mind you I'll have to watch them again after finishing the game to get the Ariadne achievement !

I just got this one by watching the whole credits on my first playthrough. It was not in a single sitting though, I even turned my Xbox off after Tuesday chapter and continued a few hours later.

I played in one sitting and watched all credits. Did not get this.

Update: Started a new game after, hit pause during opening, left it for 30 min to do something else. It popped after 30 minutes, randomly.

Awarded when you have finished your first playthrough, after the credits. It can also be unlocked by watching just the credits from Chapter Select.

This achievement is unlocked by watching the credits in full, either by completing the game or by selecting ‘Credits’ from Chapter Select. The credits are approximately 7 minutes long. If you skip or end the credits early, this achievement will not unlock and you will need to replay the chapter again.
