Once you start quest mode you will have to go into the shop and buy an orb disk I think this will cost you 5000. After you have bought an orb disk start fighting diffrent people in the arcades.
After a couple of matches you will get an item match where you might win an orb if you beat the opponent.
The item matchers seem to be random so it might take a while for you to win a orb.
Simply keep on buying the orb disks when you have filled one up... You will have to fill 8 orbs disks to get this achievement.

Correction to both of the above:
When you start Quest Mode, you start with a Free but also empty Orb Disk.
As you fight opponents, it may result in you fighting in a "Item Match" where if you defeat your opponent, you may get an item of clothing, gold for purchasing items, or an Orb.
Once you finish filling up an Orb Disk, you will unlock an item for your character and you will also need to go to the shop and BUY A NEW ORB DISK, otherwise, you are wasting your time while trying to get this achievement.
The first one you buy is 1000, the 2nd is 2000, and it keeps increasing until you get to your final Orb Disk which costs 7000. After you complete your 8th Disk, this achievement pops and there will be no more Orb Disks to buy, so now it will be your goal to try and collect items by other means.
