To get this, you must go on quest mode and choose a player.
Try to quickly get the vanquisher rank. Once you get it, do some more fight and around 320-350 wins, u should get the message.
It appears for me after the 326 th wins.
Just try to be 1st or 2nd or 3th in the tournament to get it.
There is 4 fights to win to be 1 st.
Win the 3 first fight and you get it even if you loose at the last fight.

To get this play the quest mode and keep on winning.... After a couple of fights you will get a message saying the VF Battle Masters tournament has started.
Go on the arcade with the gold swirling around it and be placed in the top 3. you do not have to win to get this achievement.

my brother just kept playing through quest mode (with Akira) keeping 100% win percentage. he unlocked the tournament on 663 wins, come in top 3 to unlock achievement.
