How to unlock the Super, Smashing, Great! achievement in Virtua Tennis 2009 - Definitive Guide

Two ways to get this. One is playing trough the world tour and you'll get this eventually. Other is playing with a friend and ask him do throw the ball higher for you to hit it. I won this by playing through wourld tour. Anyway, this one is easy.

This is when the ball is dropping from a height towards you but you can put enough power on so that the opposing player misses because of the strength of it. If you want this can be done with a second player along with the other ones. Just get the second player to lob and you quickly line yourself up and get power on the hit.

Yet another easy one. Just win 200 points by 'smashing' the ball. To smash the ball, you have to have your opponent return the ball high to you. While it's in the air you go to where it will land and press any button. If you are successful your character will smash the ball making it difficult to return. See 'Different Strokes' for an easy way to get this.
