How to unlock the Ultimate Star achievement in Virtua Tennis 4 - Definitive Guide

To get stars, win matches, do publicity work, and win awards at the end of the season. In matches, the better you perform, the more bonus stars you gets - 3 for not losing a point or 1 for not losing a game. Agents will help both match and publicity payouts, where special agents help match payouts. Try to hire some before a tournament, especially before the tournament at the end of the season.

Speaking of the end of the season, awards also boost stars. These awards are:
- Season MVP, for winning the most tournaments
- Speedy Finish, for reaching the end of the season first. I get this award even with three days left.
- MAX Serve, for tallying the most MAX serves
- Smash Point, for winning the most points with smashes
- Super Shot Point, for winning the most points with super shots
- Charity Event, for attending the most charity events in a season.

You need 750 stars to reach Ultimate Star. Note that this needs to be done in one World Tour season; restarting will reset your stars.

Nice guide. Thumbs up. Might want to mention this needs to be done in 1 season, then your stars get reset.

Does difficulty level affect the number of stars you can win?

I'm honestly not sure. The guide was written for Normal, for what it's worth.

I can confirm that this can be earned in casual difficulty. As the guide says agents work wonders towards this, without them I don't think it would be possible. Thumbs up from me!

778 stars on Casual for me. Get your Agents, stack them up, and play exhibitions, fancy dress, and attend publicity events. Oh and win the tournaments too :D

If it helps anyone, here is my breakdown of how I got to 921 stars on Casual by the end of my 4th season. The first column is stars gained, the second column is how many stars I received at the end of year awards:

1st season - 135 - 9
2nd season - 168 - 23 (335 total at the end of 2nd season)
3rd season - 204 - 40 (579 total at the end of 3rd season)
4th season - 302 - 40 (921 total at the end of 4th season)

Get 750 stars in the World Tour
As in the Roadmap, use the second season to really go for it. This way you’ll understand the mechanisms of the game and how to gain the most stars.
Don’t worry about money whilst going for this and focus on the activities that give stars; hire as many Agents as possible (they're available from season 2) and they’ll give you bonus stars for 7 days. There are two different types of Agents available and also cost different. Try to always have a RED agent as they give you a better bonus.
If you get 750+ Stars by the end of basically the US Open, there will be a 5th season where you can get even more stars and dollars. Your final opponent is King.
You can view your status by selecting "SPT Rating".
