This is the closest thing to a story-related, unmissable achievement. Once you finish the fourth season and the awards ceremony ends, this achievement will pop.

Not necessarily true. I finished first in the rankings after the fourth season as "Tennis Master" with approximately 850 stars. I was invited to a final playoff season and now the World Tour continues. I haven't gotten this achievement yet.
Edit: I just finished the playoffs in World Tour by beating King in the final match. He got a break early leading 3:1. Then I won 3 games in a row with a re-break finishing the match 4:3. In the end I got 1013 stars and the rank of Tennis Legend
. Too bad you have to beat King in arcade mode to get that achievement.

Clear the World Tour and the Trophy will popup no matter how many stars you have.
This will take you through four seasons to participate in the continents biggest events. It does not matter how good or bad you are at this, as you’ll still get it.
