This can be done between chapters. Find the wall with the white paint in the basement. The easiest way I found to get there was to go into the garage, turn left to the next door, and go through that room. The wall will be on your right.
If you interact with the wall, you will break it down. Follow the path down the stairs into the room. On the table will be the revolver. Recreate the scene at the beginning of the game, and this will pop.
Do it 6 more times (the last without bullets), and you'll get the Void achievement.

NOTE: This achievement guide has spoilers that lead to the solutions of puzzles you may want to solve yourself. I have spoiler tagged some important information, so proceed with caution.
This achievement takes place in the Dolores' chapter (started by interacting with the key hanging on the wall, to the left of the radio). Late into the chapter you will come across a

. The wall is located near the door that leads to a small tool closet. You'll know which wall to break down as it's
, and will give you an "interact" prompt. Once you break down the wall, walk through it. You will come to a room with a Revolver that you will need to use to get back upstairs. Using the Revolver will give you the achievement. Just know that this Revolver only has 6 bullets, and is also required for another achievement that I will have linked at the bottom of this guide. To get back to the Revolver, go down the stairs that lead to the Garage, and head through the mirror at the bottom. If you are wondering how to get back upstairs without using bullets, head into the bathroom near the Supply Closet, and there will be a missing toilet. Head down the hole, and you will be back upstairs.

Would like to note that I did not have to do the Dolores' chapter in order to get access to the revolver.

This achievement is automatically unlocked on the road to the "Void" achievement.
In the basement, you'll find a wall that looks newly plastered. The wall is a 45 degree diagonal to the rest of the walls. Interact with it to break through.
Go through the newly made opening, down the stairs, and into the familiar room. Click on the revolver. Press E to point it. Press E again to use it. The achievement will pop!
This achievement is automatically unlocked on the road to the "Void" achievement.
