How to unlock the Matryoshka dolls master achievement in Visage - Definitive Guide

There are a total of ten Matryoshka dolls that you must find. You can start looking for them as soon as the game begins. Seven of them can be acquired at any time in between chapters. However, three of them are missable! All the missable ones are found during Lucy's chapter. I will give you a brief written guide for the missable ones. Refer to the video if you get confused.

Missable doll one (2:47) - You will walk outside the home to Lucy's tree house. Climb the ladder and you will see a desk on the far side. Underneath the desk is your doll.
Missable doll two (3:06) - You will get trapped inside of a room with no doors. Lucy will be crying in the corner and a lone bird cage will be on the other side. Once the scene ends, you will be able to open a door. Open the door and hug the right wall. Behind a small mannequin will be your next doll.
Missable doll three (3:15) - You will go into a room with a bunch of wardrobes. Go straight ahead until you get to a wardrobe facing away from you. Should be the 3rd wardrobe in front of you. Open the wardrobe and pick up the doll.

Do they have to all be collected in the same playthrough for the achievement to pop?

I'm definitely late for this, but I found that they all need to be collected in the same walkthrough. Fortunately, Lucy's chapter isn't that long if you're following a guide.

Missable.
There are a total of 10 Matryoshka Dolls (or Nesting Dolls) that you need to pick up for this trophy. They're found around the house within Dolores' and Lucy's Chapters but you can also pick up some as you roam around the house freely between chapters, though keep in mind that not all the rooms are available at the start of the game. Their locations and which Chapters you can find them in are as follows (in roughly the order you'll pick them up):
Matryoshka Doll #1: In the master bedroom upstairs. In the bottom right drawer of the dresser with the mirror.
There are a total of 10 Matryoshka Dolls (or Nesting Dolls) that you need to pick up for this trophy. They're found around the house within Dolores' and Lucy's Chapters but you can also pick up some as you roam around the house freely between chapters, though keep in mind that not all the rooms are available at the start of the game. Their locations and which Chapters you can find them in are as follows (in roughly the order you'll pick them up):
Matryoshka Doll #1: In the master bedroom upstairs. In the bottom right drawer of the dresser with the mirror.
Matryoshka Doll #2: In the "Progress Room". Inside the small room with the table with the candles on the left and the statue on the right, crouch down with
and you'll see the Doll in the small cubby hole of the table. 
Matryoshka Doll #3: When you first enter the garage, head upstairs to the storage room. In the back of the room is a red toolbox that you can move to reveal a small entryway to a hidden room. Head inside and on a shelf on the left will be the Doll.
Matryoshka Doll #4:There is a room with a deep freezer just off the side of the TV room in the basement. Inside the freezer, tucked in the lower right corner, is the Doll.
Matryoshka Doll #5: In the dining room of the main house. Inside the second from the right cupboard on top.
Matryoshka Doll #6 (Only available during Lucy's Chapter): Inside the Tree House. The doll is underneath the small table with the radio on it.
Matryoshka Doll #7 (Only available during Lucy's Chapter): Inside the small room with the polaroids on the wall and the small baby mannequin on the right side. Just behind the mannequin is the Doll.
Matryoshka Doll #8: In the corridor leading from the dining room to the basement. Go down the first set of stairs from the dining room and follow the corridor and take the second right. There will be another set of small stairs here. Tucked underneath them will be the Doll.
Matryoshka Doll #9 (Only available during Lucy's Chapter): You'll eventually reach a room full of wardrobes. Before you leave this room (down a hole next to some candles), stand by the door and look at the wardrobes. There are two facing you directly in front of you. Go around the right side of the one on the right.
There will be a wardrobe directly behind it that has doors facing to the right (the doors are open in the image below but will be closed at first).
Open up the doors and flash your camera inside of it. A bunch of white faces will appear. When they disappear, the Doll will appear on the bottom shelf.
Matryoshka Doll #10: Inside the little boy's room upstairs. There is an armoire in the back of the room (or the right side, depending on what door you enter from) with some boxes on the ground next to it. Tucked between the boxes and the armoire is the Doll.

Note: Three of the Matryoasha dolls are found in Lucy's chapter, and are highly missable! The achievement "Matryoshka doll" is unlocked as part of this achievement.
To unlock this achievement, you must collect all ten Matryoshka dolls! To collect one, you need to click on it, and it will start to glow and disappear. Collected Matryoshka dolls can be found in the bookshelf near the grandfather clock on the upper floor.
Matryoshka dolls found in in the house
1. In the progress room, inside the white stand.
2. In the dining room cabinet, to the right when you come from the living room.
3. In the master bedroom, hidden in the lowest right drawer of the dresser by the bed end.
4. In the son's room, on the floor hidden behind some cardboard boxes and the large, wooden cabinet, behind the boxes.
5. In the garage attic, after moving the tool boxes and going into the hidden room with the Omega box, it sits on a cardboard box.
6. In the basement, inside the freezer.
7. In the unfinished corridors in the basement, hidden under and behind the wooden steps of a small set of stairs.

8. In the treehouse, under the small stand with the talking radio.
9. In a concrete room with tiny furniture, immediately after being locked in a room with a single birdcage containing a radio and a wooden bird, it will be on the floor by the wall and to the left of the furniture.
10. In the dark room with many large, wooden cabinets. From the door, go straight forward and you should bump into the side of one such cabinet. Go the right side doors of this cabinet, open it up, and there should be a bunch of white masks inside. Take a picture of them, and they will disappear, replaced by the Matryoshka doll.
