You can unlock scene select before the end of the game using the ANALOG STICK and the buttons below:

Simply load up the Scene 24, Nightmare Queen and defeat the boss.

INTERMISSION (Scene 24: Nightmare Queen)

Aim Up with the Right Stick to charge up your sword and then aim with the Right Stick where you want to shoot.

When the Queen flies up look for falling feathers to know where not to stand then shoot when you have an opening.

When the Queen flaps her wings to blow you away charge up a shot and hit her to stop this and when she flies off screen to the left or right just charge up a quick shot to damage her (or jump over her as she approaches).
