Well that was confusing. If anyone else needed to know, to do the code, use the left stick, not the D pad. Nobody states this except some old ass forum post elsewhere.

To be fair using the left stick is usually the default but my bad

Scene Select Code: Left, Right, LB, RB, Up, Up, Down, Left, RB, A
INTERMISSION (Scene 23: The Hero)
To jump press A, repeat 39 more times.
To charge up a bolt hold the Right Stick up, to fire aim and hold in any direction with the Right stick. Do these actions 30 times.
Just before the end of the level there will be an area with a lot of bats. Charge up your sword with up on the Right Stick, wait for a bunch of bats to cluster up and fire towards the closest bat to cause a lightning chain.

Can’t seem to get “Lighting Strike x25!!!” Already deleted my save and tried it over and over again, it’s the only achievement thats left. What do they exactly mean by “Strike” ?

Hit 25 things with lightning
Once you have charged your sword, hold it in the direction of an enemy to discharge it to hit them. Do this 25 times for the achievement. See Lightning Power x30!!! (50G) for more details and Reflection x20!!! (50G) for a place to grind this in scene 23 if needed.
