Hardcore = ranked. Win a ranked game. Queues are pretty long for whatever reason so be prepared to wait like 8 or 9 minutes.

In the main menu press B (on Xbox) or Circle (on PlayStation). Then change the mode to hardcore. Then just keep playing matches until you win one. It shouldn’t take that long.
