I will tell you right now, this achievement will take you a bit. When doing contracts, you are given 3 options. Easy, Hard, Insane.
Easy will cost you 100 of your earned dollars and net you 300 more dollars.
Hard costs 500 and will net you 1000 more dollars.
Insane costs 1000 and will net you 50 Crowns.
You are able to do 1 every 24 hours, but after I completed my contract, my timer was only 18 hours. Contracts reset at 8pm EST each day.
This achievement will take you a minimum of 30 days to complete. If you choose to do only crown contracts, you would net 1500 crowns a month. Far below the amount you need for the Oooh it's Shiny achievement, since you need at least 14,000 crowns.
The contracts range from getting headshots in Co-Op/Versus, to getting score multiplayers in Co-op.
It is your choice in which ones to do, but essentially, it will take you a little bit to complete.
With most of the crown contracts, you are able to boost them with a friend in a private match.
---Plant and detonate a bomb on PTB 3 times---
This can be done by yourself. open up a private Plant the Bomb lobby with auto team balance off and switch teams to Blackwood. Then plant 3 bombs (you have to wait a minute to detonate each of them). You'll have this done in just over 3 minutes after quitting out.
---Headshot 15 enemies with SMG in TDM---
---Achieve 5 'Butcher' awards in Versus---
Grab two other players and head to a private FFA lobby. All three players stand together and the contract owner quickly uses their melee weapon (e.g. knife) to kill both of the other in quick succession. I recommend just holding down the left trigger and aiming at the head.
---Achieve 4 grenade double kills in Versus---
Grab two other players and head to a private FFA lobby. All three players stand together and the contract owner just cooks the grenade by holding down RB until it explodes killing all three people. You need another grenade anyway so suicide should be the best way.
---Pistol kills---40 in TDM
---Achieve 5 'Brainsmasher' awards in Versus---
Grab two other players and head to a private FFA lobby.
A brainsmasher is a quad kill with headshots. However I have confirmed that you can do this with only double kill headshots. The kills just need to be in quick succession.

I didn't vote but.....It doesn't mention boosting or methods for it and the 18 hours counter is incorrect....It has to do with when they add new contracts (and I'm not sure what the timing is exactly on that). But for example I had a contract that was 3 hours away from expiring...I finished it..and I was able to grab a new contract right away.

added in that the time is determined when you complete and pick up the contract

To get this achievement you need to buy contracts.
You can buy contracts when you are in a lobby for either versus or Co-op.
When you're in the title screen check under profile --> contracts to see which ones are available.
You can pick between Easy, Hard and Insane contracts.
Easy costs 90 dollars and reward you with 300 dollars upon succesfully completing the contract
Hard costs 350 dollars and reward you with 1000 dollars upon succesfully completing the contract
Insane costs 700 dollars and reward you with 50 crowns upon succesfully completing the contract
Upon buying such contract you are given 24 hours and 30 seconds to complete the contract. When completed you will be told when the next contract will be available. Since new contracts are given every 24h at the same time for everyone you can do 2 contracts in a row.
Since not everyone has time to boost or otherwise go for contracts every day we can also exploit this overlap to do 3 contracts in a row. Just make sure you buy a contract 24,5 hours BEFORE the 3rd days contract appear. That way you can complete those 2 contracts in a row and be done right around the time the 3rd contract appears.
This achievement still requires 30 different days to pass however so if you start with this achievement on new years day 2015 you can JUST make it missing only 1 contract.
It doesn't matter which contract you complete. A lot of people recommend to always buy the Insane contract but a lot of those require insane things to do in Hardcore Co-op so I do not recommend that. The extra crowns are nice for the crown box and crown item achievements but you can get a lot more crowns if you complete Co-op missions fast and/or with enough points. So buying contracts and completing them is of higher priority than doing explicit Insane contracts
Note that for the European realm the contracts change at midnight GMT 0
