Simply start up a game of team deathmatch on the hanger level, The narrow paths inbetween the storage containers make great places to leave your claymore for unsuspecting enemies, After a few games the achievement will pop! EDIT- apparently you can also do this on private match with a friend, Credit goes to D12 BIZZAR3 for spotting this.

Update: This may have been changed with the recent patch that will now allow you to unlock it with claymore kills from Co-op. Credit to Bellsten for pointing it out.


This isn't so much a solution as it is a tip. I have gotten over 10 kills in co-op with claymores whether it be the training missions or actual missions and none of them seem to count towards this achievement but they do count towards the claymore kill challenges. It seems you have to get all these kills in Versus whether it be private match boosting or actual matches.

Here's a couple ways to get this:

Boosting:
Invite your friends to a private lobby TDM and go claymore crazy!

Versus/Co-Op:
Just remember to put your claymores at the choke points on the maps and you'll net yourself this achievement relatively quick.
