So I'm gonna do this in two sections. A short version and a detailed version, that in my opinion is the fastest way to get this achievement. In the short version I assume you know how to get the new resources and the new standing. With this guide you should be able to build a Zaw without needing to rank up in the Ostron.
Short Version
So the short version is pretty simple. Go to Cetus and look on your map for the anvil and hammer symbol. Go there and talk to Hok. Then Browse his Wares and get 3 parts. A counterweight, a grip and a blade. The blueprints all cost standing to acquire and there consumed once you build them.
I would recommend you get the Jai counderweight, the Seekalla grip and the Balla or Ooltha Blade. These are made form the same materials and are the easiest to get. This will cost you 6000 Ostron standing in total 3000 for the 3 parts. 2000 for the material blueprints. And a 1000 for the fishing and mining tools.
Build the blueprints you choose, there in your Foundry back on your ship under miscalenious. Bring back the build parts, they will take a hour each, and give them to Hok he will assemble the Zaw for you. You will need a weapon slot to accept your Zaw. And with that you should earn the achievement.
Detailed Version
We will start off with explaining how to get standing. Since you will need to buy the parts and materials you need to build the Zaw with standing.
There are three ways to get standing. Bounties, Fishing and Mining.

You get standing by selling the Gems to Old man Suumbaat. Just keep 10 Azurite, I'll explain later.
Fishing is considered by most off the community not worth your time for standing. Since you need a lot off resources from fish. Of course when you give your fish for standing you don't get resources.
So you did your first bounty or enough to get over a 1000 standing so now you can buy a mining laser named Nosam cutter and fishing spear named Lanzo Fishing Spear. 500 standing each. You get the Mining laser form Old Man Suumbaat, his symbol in the pickaxe. The Fishing spear you get from Fisher Hai-luk her symbol is, you guessed it, a fish.
Now you can collect a other 5000 standing buy your choice. I would recommend mining because you get the minerals that you need to craft your Zaw.
Now once you have 5000 standing you can go and buy the parts for your Zaw. Find hok in Cetus, he's by the anvil and hammer on you map. Browse his wares and Get the Jai counderweight, the Seekalla grip and the Balla Blade. For a total off 3000 standing.
The reason for these three there made for the cheapest material. So you don't need to get a other Gem or Alloy that is only available by getting a higher rank in Ostron. Which would require more standing.
To build the Zaw you will need from the plains: Nistelpod 30 - Found in containers and plants. Condroc wing 2 - Found by killing the big birds. Grokdrul 20 - Found in any grineer camp
From Fishing: Fish scales 45 Khut-Khut Venom Sac 10
From Mining: Pyrol 140 Azurite 10
From other Resources in the game: Credits 23000 Rubedo 350 Cryotic 1400 Salvage 900
As you may have noticed we have 2000 standing left this is to buy blueprints to refine materials. Pryotic Alloy and Tear Azurite. You can get these form Old man Suumbaat. This is where you got your mining laser. Buy these blueprints once since they are reusable.
Now you have the Parts for the Zaw the Blueprints for the Refined materials. All you need now is fish for the last materials. If you got enough of the gems and minerals during your grind for standing.
So the most efficient spot for fishing the one fish you need is here:
You get three fish in this lake Khut-Khut, Yogwun and Mortus Lungfish. I would suggest farming during the day since Khut-Khut is very common during the day. You should need 10 Khut Khut to get enough venom sacs. I don't know for sure I just fished for 30 mins and got as many as I could and ended up with way more. Catch every thing. Since you need fish Scales and I don't know how many fish scales one fish can give.
So now after all this gathering you can finally craft the friking parts, they take a hour each. You can find them under miscellaneous in your Force in your ship. Before you go back to Hok make sure you have a few weapon slot. Now go back to him. Select you crafted parts and voila a Crapy Zaw. Which will net you the achievement.

On the game play side, I built a Zaw at MR 5 and after fully upgraded, used it for the rest of the game. It's an incredibly powerful melee weapon given how early in the game you can get it. Does anyone know if this achievement is glitchy? I made sure I had a weapon slot available and crafted my weapon using the parts from the short version guide. After I made it no achievement popped. Any info anyone had would be great!

Thanks ssippiee! It was a delayed unlock for me. I quit the game and went back in just a few minutes ago and it unlocked in the background. No bloop. But it unlocked thankfully!!
