You must be the host to get this achievement. This doesn't mean you need to have a railjack built of your own. If you join a railjack mission you can leave party and then take control of that railjack. I highly recommend finishing the mission before doing this to be polite. Then go to the navigation terminal at the front of the ship pick a mission (do a low level one if going solo) and wait for the announcement that a crew ship is approaching. Exit the ship and head for the back of the crew ship to board it. I suggest moving fast as these ships do more damage. Run to the front of the crew ship and kill the pilot to take control of the ship. As soon as you take control the achievement should pop.
