This can be completed on Deimos, in the Cambion Drift open world map. Bring a weapon that provides Heat damage. It doesn't have to be the only damage type, it just needs to be present. Abilities that deal Heat damage should also be enough, but I can't test it to confirm.

Infested pods spawn enemies for you to kill, and can be found most commonly near Reactive Crystal formations. The earliest spot to find them is directly outside the Necralisk entrance, on the East side hilltop. Just walking in the ruins near the crystal will be enough to start spawning enemies, but the pods disappear fast and only a handful spawn so be ready to start burning them before approaching.

I think the fastest way to get the achievement is actually to begin an Isolation Vault bounty from Mother, either inside the Necralisk or outside in the open world(look for the orange waypoint when moving around the map). Once you complete the main Isolation Vault objectives(but not the opening of the loot vault at the end), Infested pods usually begin to spawn endlessly.

Just keep killing until the achievement pops, and then finish up your looting like normal. I used this method to farm a ton of resources with a booster active a few weeks ago, so the achievement unlocked for me today as soon as it was added in the new update.

In addition to Semoclive's guide, here is a solution for those struggling to burn the pods.

First, you need to have heat as the only elemental damage otherwise it will be combined (heat + cold = blast, heat + toxin = gas ...)

Even after finishing the main story (and getting my mastery lvl to 12), I didn't suceeed to destroy an egg with normal weapon, so I recommend to use the Necramech Voidrig with the mod Combustion Rounds or/and Magma Chamber on both weapons.

As Nechramechs uses Archguns, you can drop this mod in Caelus (Uranus - Interception) missions or by killing enemies in Archwing mission (here is a link for all drop rates : https://n8k6e2y6.ssl.hwcdn.net/repos/hnfvc0o3jnfvc873njb03en...).

Once you have your Voidrig set, launch a low level bounty in Cambion Drift (Deimos) : I find the infinite excavation is most efficient as many pods will spawn around the objective and you can burn a hundred of them in a single run.

When the pods are spawning, make sure you are in your Nechramech, if you're still struggling to destroy them, use the guard mode (4th ability) which will one shot all of them in a single hit.
