Shurikens are somewhat confusing as they don't state the weapon type in the description, simply get either the Kunai, Hikou, or Kestrel to rank 30 for this achievement.

Is the kunai not classed as a pistol? I got the kunai mk1 to level 30 but no achievement or progress logged

The starter weapon "Kunai MK1" is for some reason classified as a pistol weapon. However, there's another weapon in the marketplace called "Kunai"; this one is classified as a shuriken weapon. Not sure the logic behind it.

Yeah the MK1-Kunai being a pistol thing is quite annoying.

As far as I know, you can't get this achievement until you reach Saturn because that's when you get access to resources required to make the Kunai or Hikou blueprints (if you don't want to spend platinum).

Glaive is a Melee weapon that counts for this. Think it is throwing discs or boomerang classification
