How to unlock the King of Wings achievement in Wargroove 2 - Definitive Guide
In order to unlock this achievement, you need to unlock every bird’s entry in your codex. An entry is added the first time you spot a kind of bird while Bird Watching. (Bird Watching is Mercival II’s Groove btw) If you use it on a forest or mountain, after a short animation plays, you get a random bird based on your biome and luck.
Setup:
Goto Custom Content, then Create, then create a new map. In order to get all the available birds, you want to set your weather to windy and your time of day to noon. Set the map type to scenario for later and the biome to the one housing the bird you’re looking for.(See bottom of the guide for bird list)
Open the pause menu and goto Player Properties, delete Blue Valder and change Red Mercia to Mercival II. After, select the rectangle with 3 stripes on the hotbar at the top of the screen and select Mercival II. Set Initial Groove to 100 and then close the menu.
Now goto the pause menu once more and then select Event Editor. Delete the three preset triggers(Select edit and then delete) and then add a new one. In the properties menu, change the when box from “Once” to “Repeat”. Next goto the actions menu and press new. For the first action, scroll until you see “Unit: Set Turn as Spent”. Select “OK” and then set the “Unit” box to “Any Commander” and then click close. DO NOT change any of the other 3 boxes, leave “True” unchecked. For the second action, scroll until you see “Unit: Modify Groove”. Select that and once again set the unit box to any commander. In the “Number” box, set it to 300.
If everything is set correctly, you should be able to move back and forth without ever ending your turn, and you should be able to use your Groove without it ever going away.
Goto the terrain menu(it’s the leftmost button in the hotbar with a mountain icon) and place a couple mountains and forests, these will be used to catch your birds.

???
Common everyone only AFTER unlocking the Codex Entry for every other bird.
(I don’t have the name for this one since some reason my codex reset after I got all of the birds and I don’t feel like getting them all again.)
Once you get the last bird, the achievement should trigger. For me it actually triggered before the bird popped up, appearing right as I Bird Watched for the last time.
I hope this helps, Hunters :)

Amazing guide. Small corrections: you need to delete the existing FOUR presets otherwise you'll win instantly on start. I found the Quioui in the Lava Dungeon. I do not believe there's a difference between forests and mountains but alternated between them to be sure. Bird 13 is actually really called "???".
Quite a bad and boring achievement.. took about 15-20 min to get them all.
