How to unlock the Worldly Warrior achievement in Wargroove - Definitive Guide
Even it says you need to win in Quick Play but in fact you can get this achievement with a friend. Just create a new lobby and invite your friend in and give up on first turn.

Why this achievement is marked as single player?

I like when you don't actually need to do what the achievement description says and can do something much easier to get it. Works great!

Navigate to Multiplayer, click online, then click quick play. This will match you with someone on the online browser and put you in to a lobby.
Then you just have to win a game.
Will update with more details regarding if quits count etc once i can test.
Update: it seems i even got matched with a bot (?) i believe. Played pretty poorly and had a pc logo beside it's name. win still counted.

Pressing Resign gives the achievement to another player.

Note that, contrary to the description, this does not need to be in Quick Play, and can be done solo. Simply setup an online private 1v1 game, and set the second player as an AI. I set leaders to on, but grooves to off, since as a beginner I didn't want to deal with the enemy leaders' powers.
You win by either killing their leader or capturing their home base. Obviously, you can't lose your own. I used Sigrid against the AI's Nuru; when my leader got low on health, I brought her back to a town to heal. Note that Sigrid can heal herself if you have grooves set to on (though the AI will obviously be able to use its leaders powers then).
You'll want to capture as many towns/forts/etc. as quickly as possible, to deny the AI income and the ability to buy reinforcements. I used what I'll call a modified "Zerg strategy" for anyone who's played Starcraft: i.e. I bought 1-2 cheap units every turn, basically to swarm the enemy and serve as cannon fodder. In the meantime I saved up to buy Revenants (i.e. the most expensive unit), which are walking tanks (or golems, technically). Once I had 2-3 of them, the AI didn't stand a chance.
If you have a boosting partner, you can do it quicker in that one person can resign as soon as the game starts.
