To unlock this, at times in missions you will have to place a data-interrogator on a console, most of the time it will have to be restarted 2 to 3 times while holding off waves of enemies. To restart it you will have to select 4 symbols that are highlighted, each in their own row one after another without missing one. Missing a symbol will send you back up 1 row. Simply do all 3 restarts without missing and the achievement is yours.
