How to unlock the Marked For Death achievement in Warhammer 40,000: Darktide - Definitive Guide

Not to take away from the other solutions here, but I found a very easy way to earn this achievement.

Simply equip an SMG (can't recall the name). When you find a DeamonGhost and see it attacking another player fire a few shots into it's head to understand where the orange weakspot hitmarker registers. Then hit RB and full auto in the ghosts head. Simple as that!

Also I wasn't sure, but I can confirm having earned this achievement that the augmented version of Volley Fire does still count to getting the achievement. Incase anyone is unsure. I have the ability to mark enemies, and I still earned the achievement!

The nurgle beasts (I think they're called that) are also really good. I got this one on a beast and didn't realise they have a huge oval shaped orange weakspot on the back!! Just used the rb ability and unloaded a fully auto, achievement unlocked straight away 👍

So to be clear, you didn't need to hit the orange oval?

I found the absolutely most sure fire enemy to pop it on was the maulers. They have a big ole helmet that might be very armored and not really good for dealing damage to, but it still counts as a weak spot, and they’ll charge at you so it’s not too hard to get your shots off with an automatic weapon.

Beware though that there’s a hidden requirement that you have to aim down sights for it to count. Hip firing does not count at all, only aimed shots. The achievement doesn’t tell you this but the related Penance does.

Caught a Crusher climbing up to my level.... Hit RB with the Executioner's Stance talent and unloaded in his face with my Columnus Mk V Infantry Autogun.
Also had Enhanced Target Priority & Relentless talent modifiers enabled as well.

The simple guide to this one is that "weakspot" = head shots but there's a more consistent solution.

On the beast of nurgles back there's a big nasty orange zit. Let it aggro onto a team mate and get behind the monster. If you're worried about missing wait until it stops moving to eat or vomit and then just hit your special and put four weakspot shots into its back. PRO TIP: You'll know it's a weakspot shot when your aiming reticle flashes orange.

At level 18, you'll unlock the Recon Lasgun, which is a fully automatic weapon with almost no recoil. This will be invaluable when going for this Achievement because Volley Fire isn't active for very long, and you have to land 4 CONSECUTIVE shots for this to count, if you miss once it's over, so having a weapon with automatic fire will make this incredibly straightforward.

With the Recon Lasgun equipped, you'll need to wait until a Beast of Nurgle boss spawns, it's the giant slug monster with the glowing yellow weak spot on it's back. Wait until it's doing an attack animation that will cause it to hold still for several seconds, like when it's trying to eat one of your teammates, activate Volley Fire, then fire on the glowing yellow weak spot. Try to be as close as you can to it to make sure you can't miss your shots.

Once you land all four hits, the Penance notification will pop up and the Achievement will unlock. After that, all that's left is to KILL THE STUPID THING THAT'S STILL TRYING TO EAT YOUR TEAMMATE! HURRY UP BEFORE IT FINISHES DIGESTING THEM!! WHY ARE YOU STILL READING THIS?!?!? SHOOT THE GUN HARDER!!!
