Once you reach the end of the game, you can just delay the last mission and keep playing defense and target missions endlessly. Just play until a squad reaches level 20.
Eternal, Hybridchld
During the course of the campaign, your squads will continually level up. They become more powerful, gain new skills, and are allowed access to better weapons. To unlock this achievement, simply get one squad to level 20. This will take many missions. At the end of one campaign, you may have squads at levels around 15. Complete the optional missions available to level them up even further.
