How to unlock the Saviour achievement in Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr - Definitive Guide
This one can be completed with two controllers. Plug in a second controller and then on your main character use the console at the top right of the bridge area to add a second character to your game. Follow the on screen instructions to join on your second controller and select one of the pre-generated characters.
Note: As PrinceOfEternia mentions below, you may need to sign in your second controller on another XBox Live account.
Then start a mission. I created a Tarot mission and increased the difficulty to extreme just to speed things up a little (I'm sure it could have been set to higher quite safely).
Once in the mission use the second controller to move your second character forward and get them killed. After that clear up some of the enemies including any melee types with your main just to make things easier.
Head to the second character's body and hold to revive them. At this point the enemies are probably firing at you, position yourself so that they have to shoot through the second character to get to you. Once they die again revive them and rinse and repeat. All in it took about 30 minutes to get the 50 revives but I'm sure this could be sped up on higher difficulty or with more enemies shooting at you.
EDIT: Check the comment below by Rengrave for some extra advice and optimisation.

The way I did this:
Play as the Tech Priest, & play through the campaign until you get to the level where you have to cleanse the Xenos scum Craftworld with the Imperial Knight (Freeblade anyone?)
It’s very memorable, you’re a giant walking Mech slaughtering ‘Nids scum
Complete that mission,
then complete the next mission where you play as your guy & are killing Xenos ‘Nids until you find the Harleyquin
She’ll talk to you about prophecy, & Xenos lies blagh Blagh Blagh
The next mission,
(& I might have forgotten one, cuz there’s no level replay in this game)
Should be called, “Quarantine World” in the
Ventus System
Select difficulty to “Eye of Terror”
(Hardest difficulty)
Load your 2nd Controller as a guest account
(Can confirm the revives track with a guest)
Select with your second controller, the character: Assassin Class, Virgila Teadrex
You’ll start the game with both characters,
Open your map, (down on the D-Pad) & you’ll see a the path going forward, THEN, a path going to the right
This is filled with toxic gas
This is where you farm
Inch your guest
(Alt, Dummy, whoever doesn’t need the acheevo)
into the gas
Inch them.
As soon as they take damage, leave them
Your main, the character going for the revive acheevo, can revive them without being hurt
Farm your revives

Good solution! Here are a couple things I learned that made my achievement run more efficient while following this guide:
1. When you choose the inquisitor for your guest account, choose one with only a 1-star defense rating. Makes him/her easier to knock out.
2. Some enemies will attack the biggest threat, but others will attack the closest target. Enemies that attack the closest target are what you want to find for this achievement. The enemy I used was an Eldar Wraithguard with a pair of swords. He was a part of a large group of enemies, so I cleared out everyone but the wraithguard. Then maneuver your guest account to be closer to the wraithguard than you are. Wait for him to get smashed. Then when the wraithguard turns to come for you, make a small looping path to pull him away from your guest, then revive the guest. You'll take a few hits while reviving your guest, but then move away. The wraithguard will then leave you alone and attack the guest inquisitor again when you are no longer closest to him.
I did this near a piece of cover I could stand against to recover my health faster while the wraithguard pounded on my guest. I also used my assassin, and her extra speed made all this maneuvering easier.
Each revive cycle probably only took about 30 seconds, and I was able to get nearly all of my revives with the same single wraithguard enemy.
