How to unlock the Emperor’s Champion achievement in Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team - Definitive Guide

Note this is the Co-op Solution. Single Player time's are shorter

IMPORTANT - only player 1 will gain the achievement, in addition, kills by player 2 will count towards player one's scores.

To unlock all survival maps you will have had to play through campaign. Most likely you'll know what weapons and perks work best for you

All gold can be unlocked in co-op. Co-op and solo scores are stored differently but you only need to complete either coop or solo for acheivement to bloop.

Survive 3minutes 45 seconds - Works on time alive not beasties killed. The Aquilla mid screen glows gold when you are successful.

You will not be able to revive a fallen partner, but honestly you will not need to, reasonable perks should get you through this without any issues.

Only one person needs to survive to 3.45. Either player dying before this affects nothing.

You just need to earn a gold medal on each of the survival missions.

The following times earned me a gold medal:

Chem-Generator: 4:38.15
Engine Destruction: 3:21.13
Minelayer Hangar: 3:47.01
Teleporta Complex: 3:22.32
Command Deck: 3:47.58

Edit: To get a gold medal you need to beat 3:20

just some tips for the last two, feel free to put them in your guide.

Teleporta Complex:
Weapon: Meltagun
1st perk: Special Move Enhance +25% - drop the turret as much as possible, your bar will fill quickly.
2nd Perk: 25% Ranged Damage - this combined with the meltagun kills enemies quick and charges your special meter for dropping the turret.

Command Deck:
Weapon: Force Sword Epic
1st perk: Power Up Duration +25% - It gives you longer when using the shield, the health regen etc. It allows you to rely on the pick ups to carry you over the time rather than fighting the enemies off.
2nd Perk: Special Move Enhance +25% - You get to abuse the sword pick up because of the first perk and melee attacking with one hit kills will fill your bar nicely to drop enhanced specials.

As far as I can tell, you just need to survive for 3 minutes and 20 seconds to get a Gold Medal, anything more is just for bragging rights. :D

I saw that it turned gold around the 3:xx mark but never really paid enough attention to see what the exact time was.

Added that you get gold after beating 3:20.

Shouldn't you just put that in your guide then, each mission name = 3:20.

It looks confusing having all those times in there. No one cares about the times you got. Also it's good to add tips for each mission what preferences you had, what perks you think will help the most.

As BrumtownMangler has written, those are quite helpful, haven't tried them myself yet but I think he's had the decency to write that up, should maybe think about adding it to your guide & obviously crediting appropriately =)

VERY easy to do... too easy in my opinion. Any weapons will do.. if you struggle just make sure to save the Health/Invincibility/Shield powerups until the later waves from about 2:20 onwards.

Got this on my first attempt at each level. Second attempts took my times to at least 4:30 on each level. You really won't struggle with this one.

A bit of a shame really, making this harder would have added to thhe replay value.

It's not 3:20. Last night I got to 3:30 just messing around and only got silver.

Which level was that on?

I only just got over 3:20 on the 2nd and 4th missions and got a gold.

As per my comment on the other guide, for Co-Op at least 3:28 on the last map will not do it.

Survival Challenges are unlocked as you beat each level of the Campaign. There are 5 Survival Challenges and you need to survive waves of enemies for approximately 3:30 minutes to obtain a Gold Aquila medal. This is best done after you have beat the game and unlocked all weapons and abilities as they will carry over to Survival Challenge. I suggest picking the +25% Melee/Range Damage depending on the Class given and the +25% Health perk.

You can observe what type of medal you will obtain under the Timer at the top of the screen. Each Survival Challenge is locked to a certain Class, but none are too difficult. Powerups will appear as time passes, more especially if you perform well by having big killstreaks and avoid taking damage. You should avoid picking up Powerups and save them for later use until 2:45-3:00, especially the Health Restore powerup which regens your health and lasts about 20 seconds.

For this achievement you must survive for a certain length of time in each Survival mission (unlock 1 per campaign mission completion). In general, they require you to survive for 3-4 minutes, but once you get the hang of things that should be no problem. Each survival mission has a designated Space Marine that you must use, and all unlocked items are available to you to make things even easier. Some key things are to avoid using important powerups, primarily the heal and invincibility powerups, until after 3 min at the minimum. Once you hit around 3:30 in the missions they will begin to get pretty crazy (3:30-4:15). Before then, feel free to use the gun and sword powerups at your discretion, and use your special skill whenever you feel it's necessary. Ideally, having gained some experience from the campaign, you will be able to knock each one of these out in 1 go, but getting a feel for where and when enemies spawn, what powerups spawn, etc. the first time around will only make the second attempt that much easier as everything stays the same.

It’s better to go through the co-op, save time (in co-op you need 3 45 for gold). The achievement is not difficult.
