To disable "AoE" weapons in the game, first you need to go into the extra settings via the Customise Difficulty Button
Scroll down to the bottom of the settings page and de-select the "AoE" Weapons so that there is no longer an 'X' in the box and the "Achievement available" pops up next to it.
This will then enable this achievement and will unlock when you complete the game.
