How to unlock the Master of Arsenal achievement in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 - Definitive Guide

This achievement is fairly simple to obtain -

The following Primary Weapons are available for the Tactical class;

Plasma Incinerator
Auto Bolt rifle
Bolt Rifle
Melta Rifle
Heavy Bolt Rifle
Stalker Bolt Rifle
Bolt Carbine

What I did was to create 3 loadouts in the Armouring Hall and play the second Operation's mission, 'Decapitation' on Minimal difficulty, (reason being it's currently the fastest mission and you can skip two stages). I would then use one of the required Primary Weapons until I felt confident I had accumulated 25 kills, (you can also check your achievement tracker). At the next available weapon drop pod I would then alternate to a weapon I had not yet used. It may require multiple runs!

I don't believe the Bolt Pistol and Chainsword count as primary weapons, but to be on the safe side I still ensured I had 25 kills with them both. It may also be worth mentioning, I am unsure if the Primary Weapons utilised in the trials for the Tactical class count towards this achievement.

I used the achievement tracker during the trials and can confirm that it counts. I think the first and the 3rd trial use the same weapon tho. Also make sure you finish your kills with the actual gun and not the sword or pistol or whatever. Executing doesn’t count as a kill with a primary

I play on ps5, counter is stuck at 150/175.
Tried all weapons but nothing.

Any tips?

Mine has been stuck since 09/07 and I have tried every possible thing I could think of to get it to trigger.

Get a feeling this one’s bugged. Currently on 99% on console, need to double check a few guns but very unlikely I’m one kill short. Anyone found away to force it to recheck? Or unlock?

Stuck on 99% too reran through the weapons again and none of them seem to want to pop the last kill guess will need to just wait for an update

As a side note, I don't know if this will be definitive for everyone, just a spot for me and thought I'd share. Make sure you are in online mode, the cheevo tracker wasn't progressing when I was in offline mode for this achievement. Other achievements were still tracking though.

For anyone also stuck on 99% from only operations should try eternal mode I unlocked it with one kill of a heretic bolt rifle

Heretic bolt rifle didn’t seem to fix it either 😅

As of the 16th Oct ran a private lobby first kill with the auto bolt rifle unlocked it. For those stuck on 99% time to check them guns again 😅

Like others stuck at 99%, looking at the achievement only 1.8% have successfully unlocked it.

I just unlocked this achievement. Prior to unlocking it I confirmed that none of the weapons in the solution would progress my achievement tracker further in 'operations'.

I then started playing Eternal War (PVP) and worked on the Heretic weapons. These progressed my tracker.

So that leaves 2 scenarios:

1) some of the weapons require you to get kills with them in Eternal War or
2) The Heretic weapons also count for this.

I lean towards the latter as did not even have all weapons unlocked for the tactical in PVP. About half the normal weapons I did exclusively in Operations.

Update

This just unlocked for me in operations using the first gun given, so would advise trying all guns again to hopefully find the missing one.

Can be partially completed in class trials, or more precisely 3 types of primary weapons, the other 4 must be done in modes

If you press the PS button (without holding it down), the system menu will appear right on top of the game. Select trophies, find the trophy in the list, pin it to the top of the list, and display the list itself in parallel with the game. This way, you can always see the progress of the trophy and change weapons every time the counter stops at a multiple of 25.

In the tests only 2 types of primary weapons are used. In 1 and 3 the same weapon is used.
