How to unlock the Still a True Son of the Emperor achievement in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 - Definitive Guide
This solution is also valid for the trophy:
When you only have the kill trophies left. You can access operation 2 in private mode. This way you will have an infinite wave of enemies.
The A Blight to Be Purged trophy in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 worth 82 pointsKill [20,000] enemies (all game modes combined)
When you only have the kill trophies left. You can access operation 2 in private mode. This way you will have an infinite wave of enemies.
This achievement can be grinded out during Mission 1 of the Campaign on Easy Difficulty.
Approximately halfway through Mission 1, (Skyfire), your objective is to rendezvous and assist the Astra Miltarum in defending the entrance to a base.
Upon arrival to this objective, you will have around 30 seconds before a massive swarm of Tyranids arrive. You have to defend until the entrance to the base is open and where you are prompted to move into the base. However, this is where the grind begins.
Once you've defended the base from attack, you want to position yourself to the left side of the entrance where there is an infinite number of spawning minoris enemies that climb up a wall. I believe this mini swarm to number between 100-150 every time a fresh swarm arrives. Keep hacking and slashing your way way through the Nids. I netted around 10,000 kills in an hour. Video for reference.

OK, so what you’re gonna wanna do is play the first mission and wait till you get all the way to the part to where you have to kill all the alien thingies while defending the big damn. Then you’re gonna wait till the right side of the alien start climbing up and throw three grenades on the right pick up another set of grenades, which is around the area and throw three grenades on the left and all you have to do is reload the checkpoint and you’ll be five seconds away From climbing the wall. You’ll get about 500 kills every time. If you wanna see me doing it live for an explanation go to my most recent live on my Twitch and go towards the end of the video and you will see me spamming the same check point. My twitch is “Ariihow”.

I'm only getting around 200 or so kills each turn, and that's also with using grenades from the grenade launcher Bolter as well as blowing up some of the barrels and exploding plants in the area. My percentage for the 20000 kill achievement is only going up 1% each checkpoint reload. Good area to grind out the achievement though.

at the end of the first mission when you need to fight off a horde of tyranids and the gates open, do not go into them, but continue to kill tyranids, because tyranids spawn infinitely at this point

For more effective killing of opponents, you can stand on the ammo box and kill mobs from it with the grenade launcher. Video guide (en).

In general, to the tip above - it is more profitable to load the checkpoint, since around those gates there are three heavy bolters and 3 packs of grenades (one in the boxes to the left of the entrance behind the containers). So all this helps to very quickly multiply the crowd of tyranids by 0, after you use everything up, load the CT and again, the kills fly very quickly. It also seems to me that everything that your bots and guards killed also counts. In short, I got the last 10% in about 20 minutes.

An alternative method is the second operation, "Decapitation". It is best to take a melta with you. Almost at the very beginning, after mining the bridge, you will need to fight off waves of enemies and blow up the target. If you do not blow up the bridge, the Tyranids will go on forever.
There will be 4 groups of Tyranids, two on each side - you can score frags even with two people. It seemed to me that it is more effective in terms of time to shoot at the groups of enemies climbing from below, and not just at those who have already climbed.
