How to unlock the The Die Is Cast achievement in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 - Definitive Guide

This achievement is unlocked once you start on the Battle Barge, which is the general hub the game takes place in. You unlock this hub shortly after completing the tutorial, and the achievement unlocking once you spawn in it as part of the Story. This is also obtained shortly before unlocking co-op/online play.

You do not even need to play the tutorial although I would not recommend that unless you are just looking to bean dive. You could just pause the game & go to Skip Intro & then you'll get the achievement after a couple of cutscenes that you could also skip by holding in B.
