How to unlock the Death from Above achievement in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine - Definitive Guide

In Chapter 2, after separating from the lieutenant and heading towards the gun fortress, you notice power cables running through a doorway (this is the path you take anyways). You come across the jump pack after going through the doors.

After equipping the jump pack, jet over the wall and find the next group of enemies. Usually, when you approach the next set of doors enemies will start to reveal themselves (some will toss grenades).

Wait until several of them drop down to the ground level from higher above, then jump into the air with A (hold A, don't tap it) and point the yellow targeting cursor over a group of enemies. Before killing all enemies in this area, reload the checkpoint and repeat until you get the achievement.

Depending upon how many you take out each run, it should take you only 1 or 2 checkpoint reloads.

Ground pound is the move you only have when having a Jump pack equipped.

When you are airborn you see a mark on the ground near your cursor, pressing X will launch you towards the marked point, pounding every enemy caught in the blast.

In chapter 2 you'll come across the Jet Pack, which the player has to put on. To get the Ground Pound kills, you press and hold and you'll shoot up into the air. If you look below you, there's a target on the ground, so if you press , you'll fire towards that target and slam into it. So what you'll need to do is keep doing this to enemies you find. One Ground Pound should work on an Ork.

Near the end of Chapter 2, you will come across a jump pack. When you put this on holding will cause you to launch into the air. If you look down you will see a group of arrows pointing to a spot beneath you. If you press when you see these arrows you well jet towards the ground and smash into it, performing a Ground Pound.

Most regular boyz should die in one Ground Pound, but the Tankbustas (the guys with rokkits) will only be stunned by a ground pound. You must damage them before you attempt to smash them, or else you can simple Ground Pound them twice to kill them.
