How to unlock the The Emperor's Marksman achievement in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine - Definitive Guide

Right after you unlock ranged fury in chapter 3, you will enter a large room with 4 orks , kill them and the space marines will talk amongst each other momentarily. You will find yourself protecting another space marine while he pushes a large bullet across the room. Several yellow ranged orks will begin shooting at you from above, after you kill several of them about 40 tiny orks will attack you on ground level, at this point simply equip your bolter and activate fury ranged mode and mow down the tiny orks.

This is the final battle of chapter 3 so you can probably just load the last checkpoint of chapter 3 and you will begin near this fight

A great place to get this achievement is in chapter 7 upon finding the Melta Gun.

Immediately after receiving the weapon you will have a large amount of Ork Boyz rush you (~30 or so) so give them a few seconds to gather into a large group, then enable your ranged fury (LS+RS clicks while holding LT down) and aim into the pack with your Melta it should only take 1-3 shots to kill 10 Boyz.

Chain of Death and Blast Radius achievements are also easy in this spot as there are so many Orkz in such a small area.

Worked perfectly, and was immensely satisfying to hit so many Orks with a Meltagun at once ;)

This solution works great. For reference, it's Part 2 Chapter 7 Chapter Start. You start out going through what looks like sewer tunnels or exhaust vents. After the 2nd set of pipes, you'll come to a door you have to manually open. As it opens there's a weapon locker, which holds the Melta. Not 5 steps past the locker is the spot you're looking for.

The Emperor's Marksman - 20g
Kill 10 enemies in a row in a single Ranged Fury activation.

Fury is stored in the Ultramarine's logo in the bottom left-hand corner of your screen. You acquire it relatively early, and acquire the ability to use Ranged Fury shortly after.

To enter Ranged Fury, click both the LS and RS at the same time. Once you've entered Fury, then pull your LT and you will enter Ranged Fury.

To get this achievement you have to kill 10 enemies in one Ranged Fury. I recommend using the Stalker Bolter as it is what I used and getting headshots was quite easy, but you can use whichever gun you please. You also want to wait until you have a large group of Orcs rushing towards you (more than 10), so that you have more of them on your screen and you can hopefully score a few double kills.

Some tips:
-I got this achievement before using the lift that the Imperial Guardsmen come and pick you up on, also where you find the Power Axe. You are constantly rushed by a large number of Orks, and by just standing back you can easily hit 10 in one Ranged Fury Activation. I also used this location to get the following achievements:
Warhammer 40,000: Space MarineBlast RadiusThe Blast Radius achievement in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine worth 5 pointsMulti-kill -- 5 enemies with 1 Frag grenade.

Warhammer 40,000: Space MarineChain of DeathThe Chain of Death achievement in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine worth 30 pointsMulti-kill -- Detonate a chain of 5 consecutive Vengeance Launcher rounds, killing 10 enemies.

If you try and don't get it don't worry, you can just hit reload checkpoint and it will take you back to just before the battle begins.
-If you're still having trouble, a little bit later in Chapter 2 you will come across a new Purity Seal that will actually make your Fury drain more slowly, giving you a time frame to get your 10 kills.

Good luck and happy hunting! If you're going to vote negative let me know why!

During chapter 3, you'll get your second Purity Seal. This will allow you to enter "Ranged Fury" using your Fury meter. To enter it, you click both and and then press for the Ranged Fury. You must continue to hold down to for the Ranged Fury to continue because once you let it go, it's done.

Simply use this to get 10 kills in one go. A great weapon to use for this when there are lots of enemies around is the Melta Gun, which can be found in chapter 7 and later. It deals a sizable amount of damage and does a cone of damage.

A good place for this is in chapter 10, in the Security Room. You'll get a full Sigilum and a Melta Gun from the crates. By letting them crowd around and activating your Fury, you can easily get this. Thanks c1ned1ne!

On Chapter 3, you will find your second Purity Seal. This seal unlocks the 'Marksman Fury'. To use Marksman, click both thumbsticks, then pull and hold . When you do this, you will go into slow-mo and do increased damage. Now simply kill 10 enemies in one go. I recommend use the meltagun when you find it during Chapters 7 or 8, as it has a very wide area of effect. A nice spot for this is in Chapter 9, after your Valkyrie crashes and you have to start fighting off orks. The orks will come in waves at you, many including Gretchin, which makes it fairly easy to get 10 kills in one activation.

Also, make sure you do NOT let go of  during this time. Doing so will end the Marksman Fury activation.
