How to unlock the Glorious Slaughter achievement in Warhammer 40000 Space Marine - Definitive Guide
If you don't get this when playing the campaign, there is an easy spot to do it. The execution kill amount carries across playthroughs so don't worry about it resetting.
Most enemies can be executed but first they need to be stunned. To stun an enemy, press Y and an icon of the B button should appear above the enemy. Press B while it is there to execute the enemy. Note that Gretchins can be executed quickly without stunning them just by pressing B.
Use mission select to choose the very first mission of the game and play on Easy. In the first area there will be about 12 Gretchins (the little guys) and 2 Orks. Simply execute the Gretchins one at a time and then stun and execute the 2 Orks then restart the checkpoint from the pause menu.
Don't worry about the enemies killing you since the game's on Easy. You may loss your armour but you shouldn't have a problem staying alive.
It shouldn't take too long to get the achievement, especially if you have already played the campaign through and used executions.

A good place to farm this if needed is in Chapter 16 once you get the "Hunt Down Nemeroth" quest. You'll come to a section near the start where you have to cross with the jetpack. There are a handful of the footsoldiers there, and a couple of Demons. Jetpack over and hit X to Ground Pound. Once you land, more Demons will come. If you can do it within a group, you can actually get two executions with a single Ground Pound. Once you've take care of all the Demons in this spot, just Restart Checkpoint. This was easy, even on Hard.

A great place to just simply grind this one out while also working on
is the end of the very first chapter. Get to the end but do not take out the ship's cannon. Ork will endlessly come out in waves of 4. Blast one away before they get to you, stun another and execute it, stun another and execute, and stun the last one and headshot it.
After you complete your executions achievement you can simply headshot your stunned opponents quickly.

To perform an execution, you must first stun an enemy (pressing and hitting an enemy with it). They will then have the above their head, to which you click the appropriate button (the ) and you'll start an execution.
You can do this to just about every enemy, including the Gretchins (don't even have to stun them).
Executions can be performed on any enemy that you stun with the melee attack. Once stunned, simply hit the button to execute the stunned enemy and regain some health.
Note: Gretchin, the very small green enemies that attack you with knives, can be executed without stunning them, making them ideal for restoring health and racking up executions.
