How to unlock the Reikwald Rush achievement in Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide - Definitive Guide
As an alternative to running through legitimately, there is a fairly easy way to get out of the map and skip almost all of the fighting. I recorded a video of a (sloppy) run on nightmare, where I tried my best to show off the path to take. We did find the dwarf had a little more trouble making the jump, but this might have just been our group. In total my video is 7 mins from inn to inn, so there's plenty of time to spare.
This is also an ok way of gaining experience as it gives 600 xp per solo run on nightmare if none of the bots make it (750 for cata, but I haven't tried it).

Excellent guide! It is obvious that your group is very skilled (especially Kruber).

Fantastic stuff. Can confirm this still works as of 2020, it'll never be patched. It's also an extremely easy way to farm for blues and oranges if you have a group, or even just one other person.

Reikwald Rush - complete Reikwald Forest in 10 mins or less on Nightmare (or Cataclysm if you like a challenge!). Achievement is definitely doable with a group working together but if like me, you’ve got no friends who play this, I have some tips for doing this solo. You will need to be able to comfortably handle yourself on Nightmare and preferably have trinkets and weapons for your characters at exotic level with decent traits. If you don’t have these, I would recommend jumping into random lobbies on Nightmare to level up and get some gear. I was level 75 when I attempted this.
First up, character selection. I played as Victor Saltzpyre (Witchhunter) armed with a Falchion (with traits bloodlust, swift slaying and second wind) and the Brace of Pistols (with traits rupture, scavenger and berserk). With only 10 mins on the clock and with you doing most of the work, speed is key so you must be able to kill the rats quickly. Against regular clan rats, the Brace of Pistols are one hit kill so you can move through the level at a decent speed whilst picking the enemy off, scavenger will keep your ammo topped up so you spend less time looking for it and the berserk option will be useful for taking Rat Ogres and groups of Stormvermin out. The pistols are also handy for picking off specials from a distance. The bots will use whatever you equip them with so make sure you give them something decent that can help you move through the level quickly - try not to give Bardin or Kruber a shield as the bots spend more time shoving the enemy than killing them.
Second, trinkets. I took Charm of the Hedge Wizard, Gunnery School Guide, Expert and Seal of the Swift Strider. The grenades are useful for clearing dense packs and causing stagger on the bigger enemies. The bots will give you a grenade (if they have one) so again, less time you spend looking for them. Group healing is handy so you can keep everyone’s health up and the Swift Strider, although not necessary, gives you that extra movement speed. As for the bots, quick revive & group healing should be enough.
Third, know the level. Don’t attempt this without knowing the map, make sure you have run through it a few times so you get to know where items spawn and where on the map the Rat Ogre can appear. You won’t have time to go hunting for supplies so try and remember where items are that are on your direct path. Keep the volume up so you can hear the specials and the Stormvermin pack. You won’t have time to retreat and hide from the Stormvermin so don’t bother waiting for them to pass; take a strength pot, lob a bomb and hammer away at them, they’ll go down quick enough.
Fourth tip - at the end of the level, you will be required to grab a barrel and blow the debris so you can put the fires out (you can avoid this by using an out of map glitch but I could never get the jumps right). What I did was to keep a speed pot back, hoofed it the barrel, cleared the enemies, lobbed a bomb to clear a path and used the speed pot to get back. If you are quick enough, the rat ogre will not have spawned yet so you can dart to the end of the level whilst the bots distract it. If you don’t do this section quickly enough, you’ll get bogged down by the horde and the rat ogre so try and keep some consumables back for this section.
Last tip, there is a section in the map where you need to climb a ladder, break the barrier and fall down into a camp. This will start a horde and it can be frustrating to work your way through it as the horde won’t stop coming until you reach the bridge. Don’t climb the ladder - instead walk into the rock on your left. There is a broken barrier here that will let you enter the camp and the best thing is, it won’t set the horde off, allowing you to breeze through this section.
Good luck Dawri!
