As another solution has mentioned this appears to be buggy.
My group unlocked it by bringing a grand total of 7 barrels with us. There are four glowy spots to place barrels beside the coach so we placed three in those and then each carried a barrel and finished the level.
This caused it to pop so my sneaking suspicion is that you need at least three people carrying the barrels as when we placed four and carried none it did not pop.
As a side note if you read this achievement and like me thought "There's barrels on that level?" indeed there is. The amount varies but there is usually at least 6, so you get a couple to mess up with and still get the achievement. They are often at the end of paths or dead ends that you don't need to go down and aren't highlighted like in other barrel featuring levels.

We just did it carrying no barrels. We did it first with 4 barrels and it didn't pop, but then we re-did it with 3 barrels exactly and it popped.

We did two runs
The first time we carried 7 to the wagon and it didn't pop.
The second run we carried exactly 3 and it popped.

There seems to be a lot of speculation as to how to get this glitchy achievement. I can confirm you visually need to see three barrels for it to count. For example, sometimes if you add one barrel, two will appear. You would only want to throw in one more barrel to see three. If you would throw in two more and see four, that would void the achievement. Hope this helps. Happy hunting!

Can confirm this is the way we got it after bugging twice. First time we threw two and visually 4 appeared. Didn't pop. Next time threw 3 but visually 4 appeared. Didn't pop. Next time we threw 3 and saw 3. It popped

This guide is only for the people having it bug out. For help on how to get to the end, please see the other guides.
After a couple of failed attempts of getting the achievement to pop after bringing the barrels to the end, our group finally got it by doing the following:
- The host (party leader) is the only one to add the barrels to the wagon.
- 2 barrels are placed on the right side first, then one on the left. (Facing the wagon)
- Only 3 barrels are needed.
This doesn't mean the host has to do everything. Other people can take the barrels to the end of the level, they just can't throw them in. We tested this and it worked on 3 occasions with different team comps.
We found that if the 4th barrel appeared, usually on the left side, with less than 3 barrels placed, it may void the achievement. Don't worry if some of the barrels explode moving them to the wagon, this won't void the achievement. You also don't need to carry any into the wagon itself.
