I took the shade and fight all the way to the bridge close to the starting of the event (solo),
At this point, Horde or Specials don't spawn, so its easier to invite your partners.

The Shade runs into the first barn and opens the four cages.

Does timer start when event music starts or when you open the first cage? Because I know on the PC it's when you open the first cage, but not sure if Xbox got that update...

Just finished it. Timer starts when the first cage is opened (we dropped down and spend a good minute or two waiting for the first area to clear out before opening the first cage).
