The "Packmaster", also known as a hook rat, is a, well, rat with a hook that can grab you, take you away from your team, and leave you hanging until someone comes to rescue you.
In order to unlock this achievement, you will have to save a teammate grabbed by the hook rat before they manage to hang him.
Since the hook rat is a common special enemy, you will have plenty of opportunities to eliminate the foul creature before he grabs one of your teammates by the neck. This should come naturally as you play.
