This is an easy one and will probably be one of the first achievements you get. The warpfire throwers are the guys who shoot out the green flames and have a big green power cell on their back. Simply kill them by shooting the power cell until it blows up. Takes just one shot on recruit difficulty. It IS okay if you take damage from them too.
