The achievement should have been worded differently. You have to complete the SAME level with every character.

Just to confirm this is definitely the way to do it, just run through the first level quickly with each character and achievement will pop at the end of the 5th run.

For this achievement, you need to complete the SAME level as each character, which is a bit misleading from the description.
You do not need to complete the level as each character class.
I wouldn't think it needs to be the same difficulty, but I ran the same difficulty just as a precaution.
