I first unlocked this achievment when I progressed the story to chapter 7. Once the camp loads you will start talking with some of the other characters and once it finishes he will unlock as a playable.

I've completed chapter 7 and this never unlocked even though I have Yinglong as a playable character! Anyone else had this problem or know a fix?

There is something wrong with this game. From time to time all of the achievements just dont work/ dont count. This is the only one that is missable because of some kind console glitch. Some advice... Right after you appear in the camp and yinglong will speak in front of you for the first time - thats the place.. Talk to him and the achievement should pop right after msg that he joined your casue, if not reboot console and try again ( dont save ).

I deleted my old save and restarted the game as the glitch happened to me. Just got back to chapter 7 and it still wont unlock... Have closed the game down and loaded my save 5 times at the point where it says he has joined your cause but nothing. This game is really pissing me off! :(

Gogandante, there appears to be a problem with this game if you don't quit the game before shutting down your Xbox. I had this impact some achievements. Best bet is every time you go to play the game, quit the game from the dashboard and start it up from scratch.
