How to unlock the Perfect Coordination achievement in WARRIORS OROCHI 3 Ultimate - Definitive Guide

One of the techniques that can be done in this game is the triple rush. To enact this, hit the character switch after your active character connects with a charge attack (any attack generated from the Y button, either standalone or finishing a combo). This will cause one of your allies to jump in with a rush attack. As that happens, switch to the third character for another rush attack, and then finally back to your starting character for the third rush attack to finish up the triple rush.

In this game, there are certain 3-warrior combos that will trigger a much more cinematic and devastating rush attack. For this achievement, you need to have used all 60 of those.

Each of the combos needs a particular warrior to be the trigger. If you do the standard "enemies knocked up, swap, slash in mid-air, swap, and smack into the ground" animation, it's not gonna count. You also need to get at least on kill with the Triple Rush, so you can't do it in the middle of a barren field.

Just a note for anyone who might find this helpful: Use the tracker on the achievement for this one to avoid what happened to me: I tried to run through them all and then noticed I've missed one after 30 (My tracker should have been at 50% and it was at 48%), so now what I did was every 6 runs I check my progress and it should have gone up 10% each time. That way if something happens I only have to redo 6 and not all 60.

Do you have to finish the level or can you immediately quit out each time?

I'm doing them correctly, but I can't get any progress towards this achievement or even get the other one for doing one. I even looked up a video showing them all so I could see what they looked like, and my people are doing the exact moves as the video yet it won't count them.

Try rebooting your game (seeing the loading screen and starting at the main menu) then doing a combo you haven't done before.

Make sure you get the special version of the move (only one of the three will trigger it) and kill at least one guy with the rush. It should progress by the time you get to the results screen. If after that, you try one you've done before and it doesn't progress, then sorry, you've been hit by the standby glitch and need to start a new file.

I've done the first three and if the partern continues through the whole list, you have to start with the last person listed and then go back to the first person and then the middle one.

This guide really could have done with a statement saying you must unlock every single character to be able to achieve this and 1 of those includes finishing Gauntlet mode.

Not really. The fact that the achievement is doing all character's special triple rushes pretty well infers that you need all characters.

Hey, GYS GHOST and other Japanese version gamers! I have posted the Japanese version solution (obviously not much technical differences, but hey, it should give you the help you need for those names!)

Make sure you SAVE!
I was in free mode and had over 70% done when I accidentally quit to the main menu and lost all the progress.
Exiting the battlefield before completion and returning to the stage select menu was fine though.
Also if you want to use the achievement tracker but can't 'favourite' it because it's secret, you can configure the number of achievements shown to a high enough number so that it will be automatically shown.

Just to point out here that I thought my achievement was bugged on this one. THis was down to 2 things - a slow update to the achievement and not completing them all. I haven't currently got Hundun, so I know at least 2 rush attacks cannot be completed.

Then... I looked at the statics bar for the achievement on TrueAchievements and it gave me a COUNT of the tasks complete 58 out of 60. Excellent stuff guys again :)

Just wanted to add this...I was worried about having to do another play through cause I followed the list and was stuck at 98%. As i was going through a 2nd time to make sure i did all 60 attacks, my controller died around 28 and the in-game screen told me a controller had been disconnected. I turned my controller back on and when the message went away, my cheevo popped. I would suggest trying this if you are stuck at 98% and followed the guide above.

Isn't it how it goes? You think you've kept meticulous track of these, only to have just 1 missing. I really can't wait to finish this game 😐

An issue - following the guide with the character orders it lists, you are required to set teams up in character select as 3-1-2 as it relates to the guide order, not how the guide orders it. The guide's 1-2-3 is incorrect.

For the first team, Xiahou Ba needs to be the character you start controlling/are controlling when you press Y and start spamming RT. He is listed as person 3 in the guide, where in reality he needs to be your first person. Again for the first team, in character select, the correct order is Xiahou Ba, Xiahou Yuan, Xiahou Dun - which in the guide is 3-1-2. The pause menu order is different from the character select order in-game. Spots 2 and 3 are swapped. The correct order will appear in the top-right when you press pause as Xiahou Ba, Xiahou Dun, Xiahou Yuan - which is 3-2-1 when applied to the order the guide has it in.

Tried to be as clear as possible. The guide's listing requires you to use an unintuitive set of rules - the order in the guide doesn't matching either the order you need to pick characters or the the order the correct team appears when you press pause. It features a 3rd made up order that you never use and never appears anywhere in-game, forcing you to reverse-engineer the guide's order.

Can confirm that this is consistent theoughout the list

Bit confusing - just pick all of your teams in character select in the 3-1-2 order listed in the guide, pressing start while hovering over character 3, use RT switching characters while doing the combo, and the guide works great.

All great solutions here, but what I found myself searching for was "how can I do them better", so here's a list of things the other guides haven't covered that I found on my own.

1. There are no Items you can equip that will help.
2. The "Trinity" character ability increases your True Triple gauge, but is pointless as you won't be able to include them in your roster.
3. The attacks must be done in a specific order.
4. You must build your Triple Rush gauge before you can attack. This is the blue/green bar in the bottom-left, curves up below your Musou bar. There is a sound when you hit the limit.
5. Don't die!

So, here's how I did it :

1. Fire up Story Mode
2. Go to Battle Preparations / Change Team
3. Choose your 3 characters IN ORDER listed in EmporerDragon's guide above.
4. Using his first entry as my example, your last character should be Xiahou Ba. Press cn_start to accept.
5. Options / Save. This is very important. I like to do it after choosing my characters so its all ready to go if you need to reload.
6. Begin Advance, pick whatever stage you want, I've been using Rescue at Yiling out of habit. Don't choose Easy, pick at least Normal, depending on how good your characters are. For Level 1 guys I choose Normal, anything better and I do Hard.
7. Skip chat (cn_start x2), Begin Battle (cn_start x2). After loading, hit A then the 3 crack lines again to skip the intro movie.
8. Now wail away on enemies. Use your lowest level/weakest character you have, as the True Triple gauge seems to go up based on the amount of times you hit an enemy. Not number of kills, combo or anything. More hits on the first group of enemies, the better. It is very much possible to have a full Triple Rush gauge with only 10 kills. This means less running around to get kills, this is why you don't choose Easy difficulty. On hard with a sub-100 character you should be able to max the gauge on the very first group of enemies, if all of your characters are maxxed/Mystic, you could always buy a 1-star weapon from the blacksmith. Either that or spend 5+ minutes on the stage clearing out peasants.
Update: You can skip this, Triple Rush will use Musou, cheers Saracin
9. Once you PING and your True Triple gauge is maxxed, jump off Red Hare (as if there is any other mount), change to the third character in the roster (Xiahou Ba) and hit your cn_Y button.
10. Wait for the enemy to flash yellow when they're hit, then MASH the Right Trigger cn_RT. Don't stop mashing until all 3 characters have had a hit and you're back to your first one (Xiahou Ba). You do not need to time these hits, mash that button as fast as you can if you like.
11. Once the sequence is complete, you won't have any popup or any kind of register that you've done the move, so press cn_start to pause, hit the cn_guide button then go to the left and to the Achievement app thing. Not the snap, the new one that they added. I guess snap would work but I don't like it.
12. Scroll down to the secret achievement for this. It'll probably be at 1% after your first True Triple Rush. Hit cn_X to make it your favourite so it appears at the top of the list from now on. If it isnt 1%, you did something wrong, possibly the order wasn't right. Go back to the game and try again. Your Triple Rush meter will still be full, ready to go again.
13. If the completion % has gone up, then you've done it! Go back to the game and choose Return to Camp. Do NOT under any circumstances choose Quit otherwise your progress will be reversed. Yes, they can undo achievement progress.
14. Once back at camp, either go back to Step 2, pick the next 3 characters and continue, OR go to Options and Save your game before quitting.

** If you die, your progress will be reversed to your last save ** Always save your game before starting a stage. If you don't and you get through 5 or 6 triple rush moves, returning to camp after each one, then you die, all that progress will be reversed the next time you do a Triple Rush move!! If you think you are going to die and you haven't saved in a while, you can make use of the interim save, however keep in mind that if you die and have to resume, you lose the ability to return to the camp. You will need to see the stage all the way through to retain your progress.

Follow EmporerDragon's list to the letter and you should have this. I just wanted to include my specific steps, confirm it works without having to complete the stage (just don't "quit"), and confirm that there are no other items or anything else that will help this achievement.

For those that it glitched on, I don't have any fixes other than those listed above. Can only imagine that after doing the move, you died or quit instead of returning to camp and that progress was lost. Only the "return to camp" option keeps your achievement progress.

Good luck.

Just thought I'd mention that your True Triple bar doesn't need to be filled to use the Triple Rush attack. I've been able to do it at the start of a battle, just need some people to hit and start with the right person.
Also I find having my achievements snapped onto the side is useful since it allows me to see the bar go up when I do it right and not have to stop what I'm doing to double check my progress. But of course some people might not like how this looks or finds it distracting.

Like Saracin mentioned, Triple Rush actually uses Musou and not True Triple bar.
Also, even if the percentage didn't go up, be sure to click on the achievement to pull up a new window. Right after 56%, it wasn't registering the next group but when I happened to go into the achievement, it showed 58% correctly. This was fixed after the next trio bumped the percentage to 60%. I have been doing Tong Gate - Redux on Easy which can take between 3 minutes down to 1:30 but it is nice to know Return to Camp will save the Triple Rush. I just keep using Triple Rushs to take down Nezha, Sima Ya, and then Cao Pi to make sure it registers it.

@bobbert81 - the "snap" back when I made the guide was the old version where it took up half the screen, not the nice overlay we have that sits in the corner :)

This is good, but as mentioned above it uses Musou which already stars full in every level. You can just run up to the first group of enemies with character 3, hit Y, then spam RT as soon as you see it the weapon connect with a hit. The time it takes to load a level is longer than it takes to land the Triple Rush. Rescue at Yiling is great because a group of enemies starts right in front of you, and the difficulty doesn't matter because you only need to land one hit then pause and return to camp.

Also, maybe OP had a smaller TV, but having the achievement app snapped does make things go by faster. Just select the achievement and you'll see the number go up the instant the attack happens. IMO, it's obvious when you actually complete it because the third character will have a longer opening cinematic, but it's still nice to get the feedback.

EmporerDragon has a great solution, but for some the achievement may glitch out due to how the game requires the user to sign-in during the game. If the glitch happens and you are stuck at 98-99%, you can still get the achievement, but it will require some major replaying. To get the achievement, you must delete your save file from all sources (restarting the game from scratch) and must unlock all the characters again. Deleting the save file resets the progress of the achievement in the Achievement App, which makes you have to redo all the combos again, and since the save file is deleted, most of the characters are locked. Hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone like it did to me, but this is a decent fix if you are a completionist.

Say this is my last achievement, apart from the "unlock all achievements" achievement. If it glitched, and I delete everything and reearn this one, will the "unlock all..." one pop too? Or will I have to redo ALL the achievements on the new save file?

Can you clarify how the sign-in glitch happens? I know the game makes me sign in again if my controller is disconnected (if I pause for a while, or bump my charger cable). Is it related to that, or something else? I'm nervous about it because my charger cable is a bit loose, and that happens A LOT.

in order for the special triple rush to work you must first hit an enemy with a charge attack (triangle button) then switch between your other characters relatively quickly. I had a little problem with this at first because the special triple rush must be started with a specific character within the group.

There are a total of 60 special triple rushes to perform. Use a charge combo (any attack combo finished with ) and once the charge hit connects with an enemy, switch to another character to start the rush attack, then switch two more times until the triple rush is finished.
Certain combinations of characters do special triple rushes with a different animation that you need to perform to unlock the achievement.

The number displayed represents the completion percentage value in your achievement tracker after you're done with that group. If it's value is off, you did not perform a special triple attack rush, but a normal one instead. In this case, try the characters in a different order. There is no other way to track this!
