To unlock this you will need to beat all 5 trials in the Mount Altis Arena of Legends. You can find this by going north east from the Tiltren County rat infestation (the one in the south eastern corner of the map). Or you can go through the Bandit Border Crossing in the south western corner of the Ludern region, which takes you to Mount Altis. Once up there you can place Pitons for faster returns in the future.

When you hit level 8 in the Power and Glory path you’ll be able to initiate the first trial after getting your invitation. At level 12 you can take on the final trial. The first 4 are easy in my opinion. The final trial is the only challenging one because they throw a curve ball at you before you fight the actual boss.

I highly recommend waiting until you’re level 11 and have Akhedian weapons (or upgraded Legendary/Rare weapons) and armor before trying this. It’s doable earlier with at least Rimesteel although you’ll probably struggle cause of the high durability of the enemies.
