Story related, but CAN be missed.
This is the complimentary achievement to "Necessary Evil."
You'll be given a mission to collect a crystal shard from a force field generator in the Security Level of Cheyenne facility. Follow the mission perimeters until you have pressed the final switch after finding the flute.
I advise making a save here so you can get both achievements.
Afterwards, you'll be given a choice when you talk to Beazor. You can either choose to free the Father, or kill/mutate him. For this achievement, you'll want to release him. For "Necessary Evil" you'll do the opposite. I advise doing the one you don't want to do first, then reloading and doing the choice that best fits your story/your wants.
