How to unlock the Morningstar achievement in Wasteland 3 - Definitive Guide

While exploring the world map east of Colorado Springs you'll get a radio call about finding Morningstar at Union Station. When you reach him, you'll need to pass a Hard Ass, Kiss Ass or Nerd Stuff dialogue challenge to convince him to join you instead of destroying him.

Kiss ass 7, Nerd stuff 8. I didn't see an option for hardass at any point during the conversation.

The Hard Ass option has to be unlocked through regular dialogue first. Question him about his belief in God and a Hard Ass option will appear that brings up suicide.

It’s worth noting you only have to pass one of the above skill checks, not all of them.

Drops out as part of a quest in Union Station (obtained by calling the radio).

Robot Morgenstern asks you to destroy him, we pass the check (butt licking 7, or know-it-all 8), we persuade him to transfer his consciousness into our machine. We climb into the hood. When he starts complaining of pain, we ignore it (the pain threshold can be removed, mechanics 7, but the main thing is to then select the lower option and finish the job). The trophy is yours.

On my first playthrough, I transferred the brain to my car and finished the game, at the end there was even a mention of it, but I never got the trophy, on my second playthrough I tried all possible options, and I couldn’t figure out how to get this trophy(
