Once you arrive to colorado, you will get control of the kodiak. Then you will receive a call from dorsey about a family and when you progress towards the family's location you will receive another call for a caravan.
Make a save here.
Then finish family one to get hoon hero and then reload the save and do the caravan to get the "needs of many" and then continue with whichever mission progress you want

I dont follow. Are you saying make a save, do one mission and get a chevo, then reload the save, do the other mission and get a different chevo? Are there two mutually exclusive chevos here or something, i notice you put the exact same guide in Hoon Hero?

Go to the Arapaho caravan instead of Hoon Homestead and the achievement will pop. Be sure to save your game if you would like to get both achievements in one playthrough.
