There are nine Weapon boxes, you unlock them on your Map if you unlock all ctOS Towers. After you looted the 9th Tobias Frewer will call you (only if you progress in the Story trough Mission One Foot in the Grave (Mission 4 of Act 2) and you can play the Weapons Trade Investigatio Mission.

Unlocks: After found the 7/8 Weapons Stach you unlock the Spec Obs Goblin (4 Star, Burst-Fire Silenced Assault Rifle, 30 Bullets)

Thanks for the post of the map. It helps find them when the are buried under other icons.

Big problems on this one. I've done 8/10 and there is no icon for the 9th. Been to both locations of 9th and 10th and nothing? Help pls

#3 on that map was hiding behind both a Fixer Contract and an AR Phone Game icon. Thanks for the help.

I completed this questline and the achievement didn't unlock. Guess I'll have to play up to half of Act 2 again later... Ugh...

My 10th icon isn't showing up. I have 9/10 crates and no luck with the 10th. Does anyone have any ideas please?

Also to add to this I have the weapon you get for completing 9/10 chests.

This achievement has not unlocked for me, nor has the 'They call him the Vigilante' as a result. Any fix for this?

After completing the campaign I started all side missions I started with the weapons investigation and got to the point where Tobias called I completed the mission but no achievement for Saturday Night Special. I have since completed all fixer contracts, convoys ect. My progression for the investigations is all complete and I have the silenced spec ops goblin. Also I went back to each shipping crate location just to be sure. So is it safe to say this I bugged and I will need to replay the campaign?

I didn’t get the call from Frewer until after Act 2 Mission 6: Jury-Rigged.

The guide is amazing, mate. And the video, even better. That last bit with the heavies really helped out. I knew where to plant the bombs and they died before they even got out of their trucks.

Oh, and Go On Thome, 9th will appear about 5 min after you complete 8th, and it might behind the fixer contracts / city games / other stuff. And the 10th will appear only after you complete 9, as the 10th will be the mission (a form of gang hideout), and it will have the Marksman sign just like the other 9, only it will be a big blue one, as if it was a fixer contract.

Just abit of info, I was working on doing the 40 Fixer Contracts and my 39th one was take a police car, evade the police and leave it at a destination... that destination was a Weapons Cache Investigation In the Loop (South of the Island). The garage door was already open. I put the car in there completing the Fixer Contract but then went outside, used a camera to unlock the door to the garage then went back inside and scanned the Weapon Cache, took the weapon and listened to the Audio Log. Just incase it messed up the progression of the Weapons Cache collectible

There are 9 Weapons Crates to find in the Weapons Trade Investigation, the locations can be revealed on the map after you unlock every ctOS tower. You then need to go to these locations and scan crates.

Once you have found all of the crates you will receive a call from Tobias and then need to complete the final mission unlock the achievement. ( You might need to progress further into the campaign if you do not receive a call from Tobias)

I had the same problem with Tobias not calling. After I completed Act 2 Mission 6, I finally got the call. Hope that helps anyone else with the same problem.

Video-guide of Watch Dogs to get the trophy Saturday Night Special. Here you have the location of the 9 suitcases and the way to get in the garages, as well as the aditional mision that unlocks when you find all 9 suitcases.
