How to unlock the A Way Out of Here achievement in We Were Here Forever - Definitive Guide
Warning!! For some strange reason, my partner's control settings got locked in Playstation, though we were on Xbox. We never found a fix for this and had to guess buttons until they did what she needed. I will be using Xbox control scheme to explain.
Warning 2!! Each gaming experience changes puzzles so your shapes can/will be very different from my shapes and locations.
After the opening scene, the players begin separated. The tutorial will lock your character until you follow it's instructions, then you can move freely. Both characters have a few doors but only one will open. In the next area, 1 player will have a wall with symbols behind a set of bars. Player 2 will have 3 dials on a door. To solve this, player 1 must tell player 2 the shapes ( mine was from outer to inner most) to match the dials and open the doors.
Jump over a gap with B, crouch under an opening with pressing LS
At the next section, both players will have a chain to be pulled. You pull at the same time, then use Y to sprint through the next room before the door closes.
Now both players get a door with dials and symbols but each has a missing dial. One player has a dial on a table, and the other has a dial near the door with dials. The symbols this time (for my playthrough) were inner most to outer.
The game will gift you torches.
Keep an eye out for a split path which leads to symbols for both players and there will also be a pile of logs to light with dials near them for the next dial doors. Communicate the symbols to each other, which came to our game as random this time for both of us, but each dial only had one correct symbol. When the doors are open, you see each other and the achievement will unlock before you enter the chasm.
Please comment if you have any questions or if I can make the solution clearer in some way or if the gaming experience changed for you so I can adjust the solution.

Players appear in different rooms, doors that open on their own. After mastering the controls, the first puzzles await them, for which they need to enter the correct combination of figures. Combinations of figures are drawn in cells on the wall. However, they are only suitable for another player's puzzle.
Perspective and Sequence for the First Player:
After these puzzles, at the exit each player has levers that need to be pulled together in order to move on.
