How to unlock the Fools’ Mate achievement in WE WERE HERE - Definitive Guide

‪This is a 2 player online only co-op game.
One player plays as the explorer and the other is the librarian
You need to do 2 and a half playthroughs to get all the achievements
The game takes about 15-20 mins to finish a playthrough
You have to playthrough once as the explorer then once as the librarian
Then you need to play up to the dungeon for the last achievement
You need to do each puzzle perfect the first time for an achievement
You also need to do a play through without dying
My video is 18 mins long and it will guide both sides through simultaneously
The explorer does most of the work

For this achievement you need to solve puzzle 5 (Chess) without a mistake.
Unlocks for both. See in video at 7:50

For this puzzle we must give our partner instructions on how to move some chess pieces.

To do this. We need to take the film on the table and take it upstairs to the left. Here you will find the Projector. Put the film on it.

Your partner needs to activate the generator. After they activate it, you can start the projector be spinning the lever. Now press the button on the side of the projector. It will start projecting a chess board. We need to explain this to our partner. They did to enter all the same moves before they freeze to death.

After they enter the last move on the big Chess Board. The puzzle will end. Assuming you didnt die or make any errors, your Cheevo will pop🏆
**If you have trouble with the Perfect on any puzzle. You can pick the puzzle with Chapter Select and retry. This makes it alot easier. So you dont have to play the previous puzzles over again
